Getting a job in ad sales 22-Jan-06 11:28 am

Hi all,
My wife is looking for a job in ad sales. She is a former journalist and worked briefly for an ethnic newspaper. However the demands were insane -- $10,000 a month in sales! This from a free monthly publication. Is that typical or were these people nuts? Thanks.
