I take it you two have heard the scripture in the Bible which states: "Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." I suspect that you two are not Christians because you have no fear of the Lord when it comes to the poor and homeless! Frequently I hear preachers who have been brainwashed by the Republicans quote Second Thessalonians 3:10 from the Bible: "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." Having read my message on the "Police and Law Enforcement" message board under "Cops With a Conscience" (see message #55) it should be evident that the scripture I just quoted does not apply. Let's take a look at Luke 12:16-21: "And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said: This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater: and there will bestow all my fruits and all my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee, then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God." Obviously many of you have been lead astray by Republicans speaking with the "lying tongues of Devils" while attempting to appear as "Angles of Light (I am especially speaking to you ordained ministers who speak lies from the pulpit)." You, YPDYRMC and you, sweetsassygal; may not care about the poor and homeless nor the servants the Lord sends forward during the time of their distress...but perhaps you should care about yourselves when you lie about all of this...one day you will give an accounting for it before your creator!
