Its tough to get an idea of how we stack up against Phily with both teams playing pretty good right now. The first thing I looked at was our common opponents, which is: Tampa Bay, Carolina, Kansas City, and the New York Giants. Phily has beaten every one of those team by a greater margin than we have. In fact, our total margin of victory is 31, Phily's is 90. That stat would tend to make them a huge favorite.

That being said, here are my 5 reasons why Dallas will be leading division come Sunday night.

1 - Blitz This! There is no secret that the Eagle's pass rush is awesome. They are second in the league with 23 sacks, which is the same as Denver and the Broncos really rattled our offense. I think Dallas has shown some great improvement countering against the heavy rush(thanks Denver). Austin's ability to run good slant routes, along with Witten being tough to cover, combined with the pass catching of our RB trio - Dallas seems capable of using the short game effectively and sustain drives.

2 - Down goes Romo. Every Phily fan will love it, but I think Cowboy fans should also be content with Romo taking a sack here in there. Past has shown us that he sometimes tries to do too much. I think he has been smarter lately and he knows that mistakes will kill us. I just expect a more disciplined Romo on Sunday.

3 - Downs goes McNabb. The Raiders sacked him 6 times. The way our passing attack has been lately, I think McNabb is going to be under pressure a lot. I dont think McNabb has the same over the middle weapons to help him that Dallas does. A healthy Westbrook changes this issue a bit, but the way Dallas got to Ryan and Hasselback makes me think Donovan is going to have similar troubles.

4 - Ground set up. Both teams are good run stoppers, but I think the Dallas trio can be more effective than a gimpy Westbrook and the rookie McElroy. This allows us to use more players to defend against the air attack than they will be able to...benefactor = Romo.

5 - Paybacks a bitch. You can throw out everything I've said to this point, disregard what the first 7 games have shown us - because the most important driving force for the Cowboys is going to be to avenge last Decembers beat down. Romo has got a taste of acceptance from some of his critics (myself included) and he knows that all that will be gone and he'll have to listen to those same people talk about his big game disappointments if he cannot deliver this Sunday. They say you're only as good as your last game. So how good is our boy Romo?
